Take Time for YOU - It is IMPORTANT!!!

How did your week go? 

This week, I heard from a lot of clients about the stressors that they experienced this week. Something that was missing from all of the clients' routines was taking time for themselves. 

What about you? Do you have ways in which to manage your stress? 

Do you take at least 5 minutes everyday to do something for YOU?

Did you know that meditation and mindfulness practices are a great way to take time for yourself AND to manage stress?

The American Heart Association (AHA) recently formed a group that reviewed different meditation methods and concluded that meditation practices had the following benefits:

less stress, anxiety and depression

better sleep quality and overall well-being

lower blood pressure

help with smoking cessation

decreased heart attack risk

Are you wondering how to get started with meditation to help you take some time for yourself and manage stress?
